This one-day event is something that is sure to delight the hearts of every art fan who visits the town on May 12, 2018. The galleries that line Canyon Road will be showcasing art of every possible type so whether you prefer your art as a watercolour or a sculpture, you are sure to find what you are looking for here. The evening prior to the event gives the opportunity to get a sneak peak at what will be happening the next day. The Saturday is the main event and there are tours, demonstrations, activities for all the family and the opportunity to meet and get to know the artists. Santa Fe Century Ride
Cycling enthusiasts come from all over the world to take part in the Santa Fe Century Ride which will be taking place on May 20, 2018. This year it is going to be bigger and better than ever. The venue for the event is the Santa Fe Community College where there are plenty of onsite facilities to help the day go off without a hitch. Added to the event for this year is the Santa Fe Rail / Spur Trail and a new route for a 100 mile ride. This new route will take in Bonanza Creek. There will be a celebration of vintage bicycles and routes to suit all abilities. National Treasures Art Market
2018 will see the 14th annual Native Treasures event. This art market will be taking place from May 25 – 27 and it is being run by the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. Around 200 of the top Native American artists from across the US will be selling their work, which covers everything from pottery to textiles. This event has raised millions of dollars in sales for the artists since the first event took place in 2005 and some of the proceeds from ticket sales help to support the educational programs being run by the museum.
