As Santa Fe heads into summer the list of things to see and do suddenly starts to get bigger.
During the month of May there are a couple of big events that you should consider adding to your itinerary.
Wild & Scenic Film Festival
Hosted by the Santa Fe Watershed Association, the Wild and Scenic Film Festival will take place on May 18.
This is a festival dedicated to environmental issues and you can pick up a ticket for just $15 to view the films at The Screen at Midtown Campus. This is an event that goes on tour all over the world and features at 250 different events, to encourage people globally to take action on a local level.
There are around 150 environmental films featured in this event, which aims to educate people in environmental protection.

Performance Santa Fe
This is an event that started in August last year and runs until May 2019. This is not just one type of performance, but includes drama, comedy, dance and music – all world-class productions run by an organization established around 80 years ago.
This is the longest-running arts organization in the state and the dedication to fine quality productions is clear. Each season runs for 10 months and includes educational programs as well as the artistic productions.

Santa Fe Century
The Santa Fe Century attracts cycling enthusiasts from all over the world and this year it includes a new pick up location and an all dirt route as well as bringing back the original routes that previous participants have enjoyed.
The vintage bike celebration is a popular part of the event and will be back this year and there is also the opportunity to raise funds for a good cause.
The amazing scenery and camaraderie make this an event that should not be missed and for those who are thinking about doing more cycling but aren’t sure, this is a great place to start.

Santa Fe Margarita Trail
Those who love a cocktail or two will not want to miss out on the Margarita Trail.
This takes you around the city, giving you the opportunity to see some of the amazing architecture and cultural attractions as you sample the uniquely-crafted margaritas.
