One of the most popular events in the social calendar in Santa Fe, the Rodeo de Santa Fe starts in June 19 and lasts for four days. All the main rodeo events are included, from barrel racing to bull riding and this annual event has been held since 1949, making 2019 its 70th anniversary. There are plenty of attractions at the rodeo from vendor stalls to a carnival so it is a great day out for the whole family. Santa Fe Opera Festival Season

Music and performance are very important in Santa Fe and for those who enjoy classical music, the Santa Fe Opera Festival Season is a must. The event starts on June 28 and runs to August 24 this year and has been an annual event since 1957. This year the operas include Mozart’s ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’, Puccini’s ‘La Boheme’, Ruders’ ‘The Thirteenth Child’ and ‘Les Pêcheurs de Perles’ by Bizet.
